birthday weekend (almost a month late)

The weekend of November 7th is always crazy for me. My brother and my best friend since second grade Jennifer, both share a birthday!

This year, it went like this: Friday night we ate mexican fiesta for my friend Katrinas Birthday. Then Saturday was a birthday lunch for my brother and then he and my boyfriend went to the gun range and then we went family bowling, where i lost horribly- but thats okay, because the family time was amazing. we had lots of great laughs! Then, Caleb and I had to rush home and get ready for Jennifers party. whew.

The weekend was amazing and I wouldnt have spent it any other way!

Ainsley turns 2 and Halloween Horror Nights

Ainsley turned 2 this past Sunday, November 1st. Just a low key family party at my parents with just the girls, my brother, me, and my parents. Taylor (Ainsleys older sister) didnt understand why we werent having a BIG party and wanted to know when it was. I am pretty sure Ainsley was okay with what we did for her birthday. We made the day all about her.

My brother and I went to Halloween Horror Nights the weekend before, it was a blast, but man were we worn out!!!

My niece who is in kindergarden this year at Sealey Elementary (*sad* i cannot believe she is that old already- she is growing up way too fast). Anyway, her school had its fall carnival this past Saturday, so i took her and her sister, Ainsley. They had so much fun!

After the carnival, we came home and made fall/halloween rice crispy treats. They were delicious!

I love them so much. They say and do the funniest things. I would do anything for these girls. Taylor looks JUST like her daddy (my bro) and Ainsley, even though she is not my baby, looks like me at that age (just different nose and teeth) i had that hair, those cheeks, those dark brown eyes.

Adeline's mom purchased a double stroller for us, so that we can go on walks. Adyson sleeps the whole time, but Addie is up and pointing and saying things the whole time. It is so fun!

hello october!

Saturday, Sept 27th i started feeling sick. Sunday morning when i woke up, my temp was 104.2, which is horrible because i NEVER get a fever. So i called my mom in a panic and asked her what to do, she said tylenol and call the doctor first thing in the morning. Things kept getting worse, sore throat, bad cough, cold sweats, fever wouldn't go down, just felt awful. I stayed in bed, finally monday morning i called the doctor, they couldnt see me until 1:15pm, and even then, they were "squeezing me in" i finally got seen and my doctor did a complete body check and said that i needed to get tested for the swine flu right now. So they swabbed me, then i had to drive my swabs to LabCorp where they do the testing. 5:20pm that night I got the results, they were negative, thank goodness, but i STILL had the seasonal flu. So I stayed home Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Back to work last friday.

Work is different for me now:

-Tatum went to a preschool.

-I still watch Adeline, now 14 months old.

-I now also watch baby Adyson, she is 8 1/2 weeks old!

-I watch both Adeline and Adyson at Adyson's house.

It is new. I have to start a new schedule, while getting used to baby Adyson. A super great plus: Adyson lives 2minutes away from me, literally 3 blocks! Plus I dont have to be there until 830am. (I used to have to drive 25mins away and have to be there at 745am)

Adyson's family owns a huge house (that is for sale) on a beautiful lake really well known here in town where almost every Tallahassee resident has walked around, hint hint! Anyway, it will be great to take both girls on walks every day (a plus: exercise=hopeful weight loss!)

Tattoos

Well, a few Saturdays ago (Aug 29), i added a new tattoo to my collection. I must say, this has to be one of my favorites! All my friends say it suits me well. My mom, well she said "ohh gosh you will never be able to wear a backless wedding gown" hahah she is the best!

Caleb got one too, he actually went first, this was my birthday present to him. The tattoo artist is Ashley Eubanks of Top Ink in Thomasville, GA. He has done almost all of Calebs tattoos, and is a good friend of Calebs.

It was a fun experience, and i am sure we will go back soon. My boyfriend has 11 Tattoos already and plans to get 3/4 sleeves done on both arms.

Friday August 21st, I took on the task of nannying plus watching my two nieces. Their school was closed for teacher planning day, so my brother asked if i could watch Taylor and Ainsley until 1pm when he would come get them and take Taylor to her Kindergarden Orientation. I just had Tatum, because Addie was out of town for a wedding. It was a great morning, but I was happy when 1 o'clock came, because i was exhausted. 

Taylor wanted to pull the wagon. Bless her heart. I love this picture, it wasn't too heavy, but it looks it because she was just getting it started.

I offered a hundred times to pull, and she FINALLY let me.

Today is my parents 30th Wedding Anniversary! Amazing! I hope to have a great, successful and long marriage like them some day! Congrats to them! 

Anyway, this past weekend, they rented a condo at mexico beach. the condo was very very nice, and if i go back there, i would love to stay there again. My parents went Wednesday of last week, and enjoyed some time to themselves. My brother, his two daughters and i, drove down friday after work and stayed all weekend with them. Besides all the rain, it was beautiful!

I really enjoyed all the family time. My niece's are the cutest things ever. even when they woke up at 630am and wanted to go to the beach right then and there!

7months!

Caleb and I celebrated our 7 month anniversary last night. (after working all day) We went and got pedicures at Royal Nail Spa. We got a few stares walking in there, a guy getting his toes done is a little different, and i suppose that i would stare too. This was Calebs first time ever getting his toes done, and he is a VERY ticklish person! So it was funny to see. We sat next to each other and i just couldnt stop giggling at him.

I had 3 (older) ladies stop me and ask "how did you get him in here?" "ive been trying to get my husband to come here for years" "this says a lot about him" "keep him around"

To be honest, it wasnt much convincing. I mean, i mentioned it to him a few weeks ago. He said he would do it. Then i came home on monday and told him i made the appointments for 6pm on tuesday. He then said "ohh youre serious" i said yes, and he said okay. Wasnt hard at all. He loves me!

After getting our nails done, we went downtown to Jasmines to enjoy some sushi! We both really enjoy that place, so we thought it would be good for our anniversary. And it was!

Then we came home to enjoy a delicious cake from The Cake Shop!

Last Monday, Addie and I met Caleb for lunch. This was a BIG deal because Addie doesn't like people she doesn't know to be around. In fact, the first time she ever met Caleb, he just walked into the room and he said "hi addie" and she burst into tears. dramatic i know. She has since seen Caleb a dozen times, and will just stay curled up in my arms and bury her body in my chest. So Caleb was a little hesitant to meet us for lunch because he didn't want to upset Addie in public. He met us at Steak n' Shake, and much to both of our surprise, Addie giggled at him all throughout lunch and even let him carry her out to my car.  I HAD to get that moment on camera....

This one makes me laugh. Caleb has his ears gauged, and Addie must have just noticed his "earrings" because she is staring them down with a puzzled look on her face.

Since I am still new to this blog, I do not really know how to arrange the photos/start a new topic, so I guess I will just have to make numerous post in one day to catch up. But with helpful hints from my friend Jessica(<--this is where her name would be linked so that you could look at her blog, but i dont know how to do that)

Today, I put in my 2 weeks at Starbucks. A company i have worked for for years. I am really going to miss it there. The people i work with, and some of the customers are like family to me. The reason for quitting? Nannying Monday - Friday (730am-530pm) and then working at sbux on Saturdays and Sundays was just getting to be too much. I had no time for things, like ME time, Family time, and even just to enjoy the day off. So i am pretty sure August 23rd will be my last day. Sadsad.

Tatum was out of town last week, visiting her grandparents (and great gma) in SD. I missed her sooo much and cannot wait to see her Tuesday! So last week, It was just me and Addie. It was fun. We did lots of shopping and even met Caleb(my boyfriend) for lunch one day.

Baby Addie is no longer a baby, she turned ONE July 30th. I threw her a mini birthday celebration at my nannyplace, which included a birthday hat, and delicious cupcakes from The Cake Shop!

So this is my second attempt at a blogspot, i hope to keep this one going. 

I will catch you up to date...

- currently i am a full time nanny (monday-friday)for two beautiful and amazing little girls. Tatum 13 months and Addie 10 months. i used to work at the daycare they went to, and the day i quit, their moms pulled them out of the daycare and asked me to nanny for them. i couldnt have asked for a better job. i love every minute of it! i have known each of them since they were 2months old. 

- i also still work at starbucks on the weekend.

- my family is great.

- i have an amazing boyfriend, Caleb, who i love lots!

and thats about it :)
